Changes in the Landscape for Community Organizing - Brown Community Organizing Initiative

Our gathering will focus on the impact of national developments on the work of community organizations.

 

Daniel HoSang, long-time community and labor organizer, and now Professor of American Studies at Yale, will frame our discussion. HoSang is currently having conversations with community organizing networks and funders on the changes in the terrain for organizing.

Several community organizing networks and independent groups will offer responses, including their current action and plans for future action before our open discussion. 

We invite you to join this conversation with organizers creating new approaches in this changing landscape.

As always, our gatherings offer a chance to get to know others in this field, and to suggest new areas for common exploration.
